First: What is the scientific miracle of the Quran?

1. Definition of Scientific Miracles..

• Scientific miracles are the Quran's revelation of scientific facts that have been recently proven by empirical science, facts that were unknown to humankind at the time of the Prophet Muhammad or could not be detected using the scientific methods available then.

• Some Muslim scholars define it as "a collection of facts mentioned in the Quran before they were discovered by modern science."

2. The Importance of Scientific Miracles:

• It serves as strong evidence of the truth of the Prophet Muhammad's message and is used to convince non-Muslims with clear scientific, logical, and irrefutable proofs of the validity of Islam.

Here are some prominent examples of scientific miracles:

1. The origin of the universe – The Big Bang theory...

God Almighty said in the Quran: “Have those who disbelieved not considered that the heavens and the earth were a joined entity, then We separated them?” (Al-Anbiya: 30).

This verse indicates that the heavens and the earth were originally a single, cohesive, and joined mass (joined entity) before they were separated and expanded (We separated them), which is scientifically interpreted as referring to the Big Bang theory.

•  The Big Bang Theory: After deep research, scientists concluded that the universe began from a single point of extreme density, then exploded and expanded to form the entire universe in the form we know today, where the sky separated from the earth, and the heavens expanded. This is known as the Big Bang Theory, which is considered one of the most important scientific proofs of the miraculous nature of the Holy Quran.
• The Big Bang theory was correct in saying that all the matter in the universe originated from a single source, because the fabric of the entire universe is similar in every way. However, the word "bang" is not accurate, because an explosion does not produce the order we see in the universe, but rather chaos and destruction.
• Therefore, the Qur’anic term “joining and splitting” is very accurate from a scientific point of view; scientists say that the universe at the beginning was a material in the form of a fabric piled on top of each other, then the threads of this fabric began to separate.
• "They were joined together": Interpreters connect this part to the point of cosmic origin, where all matter was gathered into "one very dense mass."

• "Then We separated them": This refers to the process of separation and expansion that occurred after the Big Bang, where matter began to break apart and spread out to form galaxies, stars, and planets, which represents the ongoing expansion of the universe.

For the Quran is a book revealed to an illiterate nation more than fourteen centuries ago.
• However, it included cosmic and natural references whose details have only recently been discovered, prompting the rational person to pause and ask: How could an ancient book have been ahead of its time in describing the origin of the universe, the formation of the embryo, the water cycle, and other phenomena that were beyond the reach of humans at that time?
• Faith is not a conflict between man and his mind, nor a struggle between truth and freedom, but rather a harmony between the heart and the mind. When the seeker abandons stubbornness and arguing for the sake of arguing, he reaches the clear and shining truth.
• We urge you to consider this Quran with the discerning eye of an impartial observer, not with the arrogance, stubbornness, and argumentativeness of someone whose heart is filled with pride. Let evidence guide you, not personal desires. How many hearts have found their way to certainty simply by abandoning fruitless debate and heeding the voice of innate nature that whispers to every human being: that the universe has a wise Creator who has not left His servants without guidance.
• It is not required that you submit immediately, nor that you close the door to research, but rather that you give yourselves a fair chance to learn, and that you look at the verses with an unbiased eye. The truth does not fear research, but man alone may fear it if he carries pride or stubbornness in his heart.
• Let the pursuit of truth be the goal, and let each of us free ourselves from the burden of arrogance, for the light of certainty does not enter a closed heart, but rather shines in a chest that is truthful in its pursuit, calm in its gaze, and hopes for guidance from a Lord who does not lead astray those who sincerely and faithfully ask Him for the path to Him.
• God Almighty said: “They do not deny you, but it is the wrongdoers who reject God’s signs.”
• “I only intend reform to the best of my ability. My success is only by God. Upon Him I rely, and to Him I turn in repentance.”
